The Playstation 5 (PS5) will be coming out at the end of 2020. Sony claims that they PS5 will be the world's fastest console. It will replace the PS4 and PS4 Slim. It is thought that the PS5 will be compatible with PSVR hardware and will be more expensive than its predecessors at launch.

Will you be getting one right away? Will you wait? Will you wait until they release the slimmed down version?

I think I'll wait a while on this one. I'm not too invested in new PlayStation games, my preferred games being those from my childhood on the PS2. However, I do have a PS4, although I only acquired it a year ago.

I find that waiting for years - or at least quite a while - allows the system to acquire a great range of games to choose from, as opposed to the limited selection on release. Additionally, the price will (hopefully) decrease.

I do not think that I will buy a PS5 right away since I already do not own or play many Playstation 4 games. I would wait until the price of the system dropped, or until there is a wide selection of games on the PS5. I would not want to risk spending a large amount for the system, only for there to not be very many games from series I enjoy. I would consider buying a Playstation 5 depending on the graphics, and if there are reviews before buying. Another thing that would cause me to consider buying a PS5 would be the new features that the PS4 didn't have. For example, I would personally like it if the PS5 would let me play games from the older Playstation consoles. I would also like more popular game series on the PS5 such as Halo, Call of Duty, etc.

Getting a ps5 is not really necessary left to me because of the good graphics and games the ps4 offers. The graphics difference are very similar. Getting a ps5 means you're really into games and love gaming at the peak level

I will be buying a PS5 when I can. I think that the PS5 will be a great console and will allow me to play all of the PS4 games I've missed out on. I have many friends who have a PS4 and I am more of a PC gamer myself but I would love to play these games with my friends. The biggest selling point of the system is the compatibility with PS4 games.

I am still weighing my options when it comes to the PS5. I have a PS4, and really love it.

I think the main thing making me hesitate is going to be the price. I just bought my first home, and it seems like a bit of an exorbitant expense for something I can technically live without. I will be very tempted if it has complete backward capability, however. I hate having to draw out my PS3 whenever I want to play certain games, it would be so much easier to have everything in one system.

Personally, I'm a gaming addict. So definitely I would settle for PS5 once it gets launched in my country. Can't wait to see the graphics the gadget holds.

Personally, if I was living on my own, I wouldn't purchase the PS5, for it's just another release of a console. I mean I own all of the consoles and don't get me wrong PlayStation and Sony are great companies but it's starting to give me Apple vibes where it's enticing people to keep spending their money on their products even if it's close to the same exact thing you bought a couple years ago. The price is what will make it also unreasonable. Definitely a lot of people I know don't have money hanging around willy nilly. People I know are saying to me that they rather wait a few years after it has launched to buy it so that prices on the new console will drop. The release of new consoles is endless and tedious. I have the Ps4 and I believe it still gets the job done and runs games smoothly every time I play. It's pointless and just another effort and haggling money from people. Can someone open my eyes to why they would get it? I'm opinionated and companies that keep on releasing the same thing kind of just makes me sad and upset due to their earlier consoles being lost in time.

I posted something else in this forum, but I agree with your post because you actually seem like a logical human being. It makes everything much more simplier if it was all attached to one console, and the other thing is breaking out the ps3. I do this on numerous occasions and would prefer if PlayStation made a console compatible with all of people's favorite an cherished games. You really make sense. Thanks for your opinion!

Very tempting but I think I will wait to see how everyone else gets on with their PS5,I usually buy a console system some months after release.Hearing that the console will be more expensive than usual is understandable with the virtual reality features coming with it,though it would make me wait longer to buy it as I would have to also assess the VR games as well.

I still play games on my PS2,PS3 and PS4 and as there are many games I have still not played on those so the PS5 will have to wait.
I hope the storage space for the PS5 will be huge so can save as many games on it as possible. It may be the world's fastest console also but I would need to know that the range of games on it are something worth pursuing to my needs.

I would love to get a PS5, but unfortunately I doubt my budget will allow me to do so, at least not for a while. So instead I will muddle along with my PS4, playing the lesser versions of the new releases until I have the money to finally upgrade.
