I play the piano because it is my favourite instrument. I like so much classical and jazz piano. I am singing beside piano so, I can lead my songs with this wonderfull instrument.
Playing a musical instrument helps create coping strategies in a stressfull situation and it makes me fun.

I currently play nine instruments. I play the flute, clarinet, oboe, English horn, tenor saxophone, alto saxophone, guitar, ukulele, and piano.
Piano is definitely one of my favorite instruments of the many that I play. I am currently composing a piano piece as well.
Something I might add to make this seem even more interesting than it already is, I am 14 years old.

You definitely should! I don't play violin, but I do play viola, and I absolutely love it. Joining the orchestra at school was one of the best choices I made throughout my academic career. I love playing the instrument and being part of something larger than myself. Just hearing the music swell around you and knowing that you're contributing to it is so special and truly unlike anything else I've ever done.

I played the piano from kindergarten to second grade. I then switched over to the violin. I was doing very well playing violin (I even got a solo in a school concert once)! I think that it is kind of funny that the reason I stopped playing was that my parents (who had gotten me started) told me I had to stop due to academic conflicts. Right now I am learning how to play the electric guitar (and it is a lot harder than it seems!).

Guitar is such a fun instrument to play... you should definitely stick with it. I've been playing for about two years and its been quite a journey. It's really satisfying to be able to play songs I like just from listening to them.

Jamming with people is really where guitar shines, though. If you can find other people to play with you're never going to want to put your instrument down. The best style for this is blues, which I realize is not to everyone's taste- learn it anyways, it's a blast!

I can relate with you. I used to play the piano when I was in primary school. For some reasons though I kind of lost interest and quit playing for a while. I just recently picked up the piano. Now that I think about it, I feel bad about the time I wasted not playing with the piano. However, learning as an adult isn't so bad. It's always nice to start and learn once again.

I hope you find your way back to the black and white piano keys!

I play the drums, ukelele, and guitar. If I had to choose one to play for the rest of my life, it would most definitely be the drums. Whenever I'm feeling angry or upset, whether it be from an in-school interaction or just a generally bad day, playing the drums always calms me down. The only thing that frustrates me about the drums is that since I don't take lessons, it's really hard for me to feel as if I'm improving. A lot of the time I feel stagnant in my progress and I doubt my abilities. However, I won't give up on it! It brings me so much joy and has filled my life with such fun, cherished memories.

When I was in like 3rd grade or somewhere around that age I used to play the piano. I moved though, so I had to give it up and then I started playing the violin. I'm still playing it and I absolutely love it. There's just something magical about the way that it sounds when you play it. I'm thinking of relearning how to play the piano though.

I used to play a musical keyboard, but after some time, my interests changed and now I like to play outdoor games in my local park. Mine was a Yamaha keyboard with enough capabilities to make someone envious but sadly my first one stopped working after 20 long years.

Musical instruments are like a musician's best friend. R.I.P dear Yamaha keyboard.

Ive been playing guitar for a couple of months I really enjoy riffs and am hoping to be able to produce some of my own songs one day.I don't have all the tools needed like a pedal but I genuinely enjoy it.

I play the guitar for over 2 years by now and I learned to play it because I really want to learn it. It is influenced by my classmates who knew to play the guitar before me. I'm quite jealous on how they can strum and pluck even though they are not looking to the guitar at all times. I learned it with a tutor at first but as time goes on I'm already familiarized with it. It wasn't that hard at all. It just needs practice and you just need to be into it for you to succeed.
