TV shows or Movies

I know so many people who prefer tv shows over movies but I would like to know how many people do like tv shows over movies and why. It's very interesting to see people's opinions so that I can use it as a reference later on when I have a conversation about this topic. Thank you for helping me and participating.

 

Personally, I prefer to view movies. When you're watching a movie you get the entire narrative in a bite sized chunk of time, which in turn saves you the more tedious viewing sessions that eventually leave you asleep on the couch. Hope this gave you some insight!

 

Personally I would prefer a tv show than a movie. They have more time to explain the backstory and express their new story. I also believe that people are are more likely to watch a tv show because of the current corona virus situation. I know that due to the Pandemic I have watched way more tv shows than movies.

 

I much prefer tv series because sometimes it can feel like movies are rushed. That's not to say I don't enjoy watching movies, however. But it takes a really good movie to hook me. I prefer tv shows because I feel there is a lot of time to really flesh out the characters and plotline. That way, I'm able to get to know each character and form a bond with them so strong that it can often feel like I know them personally.
