Popular Music Genre Among Teenagers

Teenagers nowadays have wide varieties of choices with regards to music genres. Whether it is pop, rock, jazz, or ballad, there are just lots of music to choose from.

Teenagers, also, have different tastes. Some prefer modern jazz, others pop rock, and I, as, a teenager, loves orchestral pop and ballad. What do you think is the most popular music genre among teenagers these days, and why do you think so?

 

Although there are a variety of music to go around, I think American pop is still quite dominate compared to other music genres. When one is asked to name an artist or their favorite artists, most teenagers choose from the list of American singers, like Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, etc. These celebrities hit the charts or news everywhere they go, perform sold-out shows around the world and beloved by millions. As a matter of fact, I am currently listening to Ariana Grande's new song, Position, as I'm replying to your thread.
