Almost everybody is inside the house, the streets and malls are deserted and the whole world stopped its everyday function. The good thing about this is the environment is cleaner, more people are abiding by the law and more relaxed and quality time with family increased. People are beginning to get down on their knees and trying to find answers to life's question: is there a God?, when will I die?, would I still exist after death?, would I go to Heaven? am I good enough? do I have hope?
Good news is there is hope. We couldn't save ourselves anyway no matter how good, rich, famous or even any sacrifices we make. The Holy One's standards is too high. We just needed to claim The Almighty's promises. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."1 John 1:9. My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? John 14:2-3. The King of Kings is the one who went down and humble himself as a ransom for all our sins. Salvation is easy but not cheap it was paid by his most precious blood. We are going to be with our Creator soon we just needed to repent, humble ourselves and accept Him as our Lord and Savior.

I’d say that He is warning is that the end of the world as we know it is drawing closer. He wants us to make sure that we are ready spiritually and that we don’t get caught up in the darkness of the world.

He is also reminding us that He is always there if we seek Him out. If we let Him take our burdens away then everything will eventually work out alright.

Yes. He is telling us that the end is near. He also used it to humble the world scientists and make people realize how weak and helpless humans can be. Who dare challenge Him?

As we all understand, before any event or incident occur it happens from the approval of the Almighty God. In the case of the pandemic the world is experiencing, God want to show his supremacy for the world to know he can lock down the whole world in a very short timeframe just to make everyone come to recognize his sovereignty. When the world give up on their sins pray for forgiveness and turn away from their wrong ways he will come and heal the land.

The end is near? I don't think so. God could be telling us a couple of things:

First, the obvious, we should put our trust and faith in Him and his ways. To paraphrase Venatus, we should pray for forgiveness and turn away from sin. We'll be healed, all will be good.

However, I think God has given us what we need to thrive during this pandemic and not many of us are listening. The dread we see is made by man, not by God. Yes, the virus is very real and should be taken seriously. However, we are at risk of making a mountain out of a molehill and turning brother against sister, father against mother, etc. We're missing a very important message of love and forgiveness that we need to be listening for.

We won't agree, but we must forgive and love in spite of that.

I think from COVID-19 there’s not just one specific thing that God is trying to tell us. I think that different people are picking up and seeing different lessons that COVID-19 has brought us. For me personally what I feel like God is trying to show me is to be thankful for everything. Before Covid I was just not really paying attention and not really being grateful for anything p, and then right when we are in the middle of Covid I started realizing all the things that I didn’t really sit down and think about how grateful I was for having them when I did have them. And now that we’re still going through COVID-19 but just not as bad as it started I feel like I do appreciate things a lot more and it just made me really cautious to losing things like school since I’m a senior this year or sports since it is my last year getting to play sports.
