What movie makes you think way after it has ended ?

What movie makes you think? Like really think.
What movie disturbs you because of how much it sticks with you?

 

Hands down, Donnie Darko.

There are so many things happening in some scenes that you can't possibly catch them all just watching it once! I've seen it several times and have always found something different. Combine that with a storyline that is beyond bizarre and you are left with questions and a desire to watch it again, and again, and again...

 

I've been meaning to watch Donnie Darko for so long now, I might watch it tonight haha. Thanks for the reply.

 

Megan is missing had me pretty shaken up. I would not recommend this movie to anyone with paranoia or anxiety. I was still horrified by the movie, even weeks after watching it because it presented such cruel graphics and video clips. The movie was too realistic for me, because, in fact, girls and boys go missing all the time. Megan is missing is truly an eye-opener and a great reminder to try your best to stay safe. The world is truly cruel.

 

I have to revisit Donnie Darko every two years or so. When I seen Donnie Darko years ago I went to the library to look for the Roberta Sparrow book. Amazing to know that this book exist even though I didn't find the book. A few years I did catch a little of the second installment of this movie. I stumbled across it, watched about 30 mins of it. It didn't hold my interest maybe I will give it another try. I enjoy movies that really makes research something and watch it again for more clues.
