What do you think about Fortnite?

Well, I think Its actually a decent game. What's your opinion?

 

Not for me i thought it was so boring.

 

I enjoy it. It's one of the few video games I can enjoy with my son. It seems for most people in my age group (25-35), Call of Duty is the gold standard to which all video games must be compared. I don't understand that. Call of duty certainly had it's time, but to say it is still what it once was seems like holding onto the past, but maybe I'm the uncultured one.
I think the controls and constantly changing modes/weapons/maps makes Fortnite one of the most successful games ever, and certainly the most successful in recent history. Now here's hoping they don't throw it all away fighting with Apple.

 

Fortnite is okay, but I feel like many other first-person shooters like COD, Overwatch, and Valorant appeal to me more. COD was what I first started playing, so it will always have a special place in my heart, but Overwatch and Valorant appeal to me because they incorporate other elements into the game, so it's not aiming and reaction time deciding everything. Fortnite also seems a bit childish to me, and the cosmetics all cost a lot of money and never come back, while cosmetics in Overwatch are easier to obtain and come back every year, making you not feel as bad if you don't want to spend a ton of money on something because it will never come back.

 

To each their own, I suppose. I can't deny that the game is fun on some level, but it felt a bit mindless after awhile. I much prefer games that have more to their gameplay, rather then just "build a big tower and get the good gun".

 

I don't like playing the game, but I think it's an ok game. I think the game itself isn't bad, but the community is awful. Every person I've met that plays is rather homophobic, a flat earther, or anti-vaxx. I'm sure there are nice people in the community, but most of the people I've seen are obnoxious and just unpleasant to be around. I've played a few times but I wasn't really a fan.

 

It is a good game to play with friends but for me it is far from being part of the best games

I've played Fortnite ever since it first came out a couple of years ago. For me personally, it can get addicting and is also a great game since I still play it every day since it has came out.

 

Fortnite is a game among others, but I think it was kind of a one time charm.

 

I think that Fortnite managed to do some stuff that revolutionised the gaming industry by bringing the Battle Pass to the masses and the huge events which are cool hands down. Also the skins gave me CSGO vibes being so popular but at this point it becomes Super Smash Bros. I think it is an interesting game and most people hate on it because of the toxic kids and try-hards.
