I didn't think I had a preference when it came to the time of day to take a walk outside, but after experiencing the heat in Las Vegas this year since moving here I think the morning walks are better. I definitely feel more awake and energetic afterwards which helps me to get through the day. Since winter rolled around it's been harder to find time to walk even in the afternoon because the temperatures can be pretty chilly. Either way getting 30 minutes to an hour of exercise, nature and fresh air can help rejuvenate you.

Is there a particular time of the day that you prefer to take a walk?

For me, morning walk (straight out of bed) is the best. By morning i mean like 5am.

For me its definitely a morning walk, if its early enough everything's quiet and the temperature is still low don't even get me started when its foggy. There's nothing better than an early morning walk the world is waking up and you get to see the sunrise and its just so peaceful i highly recommend if you can talking a stroll early in the morning.

Most definitely a morning walk for me. I live in Texas where by noon it is up to 102 degrees out, and there is not many trees where I live to provide shade either. So being able to wake up, and go for a walk before the heat waves is most definitely ideal. Getting up that early is another questions though, as I am one who likes to sleep, and sleep will always outweigh a walk. So I would prefer to walk in the mornings, but being able to have the commitment and drive to do that is another topic in itself.

I would definitely prefer a morning walk, it’s way more peaceful and you’re able to hear nature. The afternoon is when a lot of people are in motion and getting things done, so you have the noises of commotion, where as in the morning a lot of people are still sleeping. The downfall of walking in the morning is, I am not a morning person. So I am ultimately at a battle with myself, but as long as I get up and walk by the end of the day I feel accomplished.
