Do you believe that politics can either build a country or destroy it completely

Politics are common wordwide and many people have encountered it's advantages and disadvantages as well . How can you rate politics , does it build or destroy your country . Answer genuinly as per what it does to your country .

 

Here in Brazil, people have been getting fed up with the system for a while now. When several top members of the government, including two former presidents, are involved in a mass-scale criminal scheme; when you're in the middle of an economic crisis; and when the political crisis even hits the current head of the government, all at the same time... it's reasonable to question whether we might be better off just canceling the whole thing and starting from scratch. So it's no wonder that I've been seeing a rise in libertarianism and anarchism these past few years. Heck, there were even some people demanding another military dictatorship. There's a general sense of distrust in politics and democracy itself.

 

Most of my life I lived in Russia. Unfortunately, living there is very bad. Constantly raising taxes and introducing new ones. The policy is completely punitive. People have almost no rights left. Salaries are small, the cost of food and gasoline is always growing.

 

Politics, and the society that is inevitably created by them, has always led to the destruction of the country. Sometimes it takes a long time, but eventually the differences that divide people become to politically important for a country to handle without being destroyed.

Take Rome for example. Their ability to conquer every civilization around them is known world wide, but that very same power led to their destruction. The people they had conquered began to destroy them from within and the empire eventually fell to pieces.

So far America, because of its unique approaches to government, has been able to control the destructive nature of identity politics. It may be the sole country ever able to keep itself from getting torn appart because of its diversity. Hopefully it will continue to evolve and stay away from self destruction.

 

Yes, combined with factors such as education and literacy, politics can transform a country. But if the said factors are absent then the nation is doomed. This is clearly visible in India. The growth of this bright country has been hindered by politics. Nepotism, corruption and poor judgement have left the country helpless.

 

It all boils down to the people.

A country's stability depends on the morals and ethics of its people and its neighbours. Yes, politics is necessary for a country to have order and produce stable, apparent economic growth. This network allows for good decision-making among governments and different bodies. However, it is also through politics that corruption spreads. Through this said network, bribes, death-threats, and all sorts of illegal actions can cause the direction of a country to veer off-course. As we can see, through the issue in the Venezuelan government to date, their economy isn't at its best. Politics is one of the causes as to why their leaders are at a conflict.

We should think of politics like money, the more you are into it, the more vulnerable you are to giving into corruption. However, it is a matter of fact that without politics, a country will never be held together. Thoughts?

 

I strongly believe that politics can either build a country or destroy it completely. Now politics has become the core of the country’s economy and development. It has the power to affect the lives of individuals on a larger scale. We have a number of examples where politics has a huge impact on a country growth and development.

In the US , government policies had put a huge impact on the country’s growth and led to the growth of business entities. We all are witnesses of the fact that the US is the supreme power in the world. But contrary to this political institution in North Korea has made it almost impossible for the citizens to have their own property. The research found that North Korea can be richer if it utilizes its resources and not only it failed to grow but its people also failed to flourish whereas South Korea grew rapidly and became richer.

 

I definitely agree that the country can be built or destroyed by politics. For instance if members of a country are incited by its politicians through negative incitement this can surely destroy the country.
While on the other hand positivity can lead to peace.

 

Do not get me started on the United States. This country is a gargantuan disaster! Currently, politics is completely diminishing any kind of unity we previously established. It is no longer the democratic or republican party but instead, brains vs. ignorance. This country needs to find a way to unite before there is a full-fledged civil war. And especially before we call our country the "best country" like, please.

 

Both. I think politics will build and build a country up until 0it destroys itself. The in will rebuild and build and the cycle will continue. It is always trying to move forward and progress in some way though. Right now in the U.S., we are about to collapse I think. and then we will rebuild hopefully in a better way.
