My high school chemistry teacher insisted that every civilized person should have a favorite element, and there could be a lot told from what a person says their favorite element is. For example, my favorite element is bismuth, Bi, because I can say Bi-Bi to the h8ers. Put your responses below and give a short answer as to why your favorite element is your favorite element

My favorite element is probably Oganesson. It is the element with the largest atomic number (as of right now, we may discover more). Something like 8 atoms of it has ever been created. This makes it unique and extremely rare.

My favorit element is Carbon, because it is the most common element found on every living things or in an organic compounds (things like hydrocarbons, etc.). It is also an element that forms the basic bonding of the alkanes, alkenes, and alkynes and such as; Methane, Ethane, Propane, Butane, Heptane, Hexane, Heptane, Octane, Nonane and so on. As I know it is the element that builds on and forms the composition in every living organic matter (from bacteria, animals, plants, etc.)

Earth, fire, wind, water, the four elements, I prefer earth. Just joking... I love AU, means gold because I can buy stuff with gold, it is kind of a cliché, but it is a favorite or mine... The importance of gold in human society is immense and I would have to spend the whole afternoon explaining it...

There is even expressions related to it, such "Rich as Croesus", referring to Croesus, the first King to mint gold coins with real value...

I like Sodium, Na. I think I don't have any other genuine reason for my love of Sodium other than being easy to balance chemical equations that had Sodium as a reactant. During chemical lessons, if I could be asked to name any metal in examples, then I would give Sodium. The fact that Sodium combines with Chlorine to form table salt, spices up everything. I also liked how it vigorously reacted with water during Chemistry practicals.

My favorite element is either Sulfur or Neon. I like sulfur of the way it sounds, and I like neon because every time I think of it, I think of neon orange. These have been my favorites since I first heard of the Periodic Table of Elements when I was a child.

My favorite element would have to be Silicon. It has so many uses in today's world, I mean, computers wouldn't exist (at least the way we know them) without it. I have also always enjoyed the parallels between Silicon and Carbon, that theoretically, in the right environment, Silicon could be used in living organisms as Carbon is in us.

My favorite element is Oxygen because it is relatively small compared to other elements, but has the power to keep sustenance and life on Earth. It also is a major part of the air in the world with animals, plants, atmosphere, water, and food. An interesting fact about oxygen is that 65% of the human mass is made up of Oxygen.
