I can't decide between dogs and cats because I love them both. Dogs are loyal companions whilst cats are not, but cat be really funny.

Dogs are friendly, loyal, and cute, but I must say I find cats so much more lovely.

I've adored cats for the entirety of my life, and for that reason they have a special place in my heart. They are calmer and lower maintenance than dogs - don't get me wrong, you need effort and responsibility when owning cats, but because of their lower energy and generally smaller size than the majority of dogs, they are easier to handle.

I also disagree with the notion that cats aren't as loving as dogs, as many people don't understand cats' communication due to its difference to dogs'. I have a cat, and she is very lovely and cuddly - I know she sees me as family.

Also, I must agree with Diane that cats are very funny!

I choose dogs because I think that dogs are less messy since cats shed lots of fur. In addition to that, I believe that dogs are more playful since cats usually lounge a lot. Also, dogs are more likely to listen to you and obey your commands. Another thing is that since cats hate water, dogs are more likely for you to bathe them than cats.

I like cats more than dogs. Dogs and cats are great companions but dogs need more attention. They're dependent on their owners and need to be trained more than cats do.

Cats are cleaner and independent. I like how cats set boundaries and expect respect from us.

I have three cats and a dog at home. I love all of my pets but generally speaking, I like cats more than dogs. I think it is because cats and I have similar characteristics.

Personally, I have a very strong love for dogs and a slight hatred for cats. When I was younger, I had multiple bad experiences with cats which may account for my resentment towards them. Overall, I'd rather have a dog than a cat because I am a runner and I take my dog on runs with me almost every day. I have a man's best friend and a running partner, all in one. You cannot do that with a cat.

Personally, this is why I like cats more. There is nothing better than earning a cat’s respect, and them finally warming up to you.

This happened with my own cat. At first he was very standoffish and wouldn’t interact with anyone, but after a while, he finally began to act friendlier. Now, he’s constantly purring and wanting to be pet. Seeing that transformation, from cold to super-affectionate, was awesome.

I have experience with both animals and i can tell u one thing... CATS are WAY easier to take care of and they give you lots of cuddles (unless you have an asshat of a cat like me) here are a few pros of having a cat 1) They are easier to carry 2) inside cats dont get as dirty as dogs
    3) they are softer and more fun to pet. 4) they dont have an age limit. I am definitely not saying having a dog is a bad thing its just you have to put in a little more effort which im sure many people can commit to. Bigger and younger dogs are for more active and young people but small and older dogs are for more calm and older people.

I'm more of a cat person as they can pretty much look after themselves.

Not muc work to do with them and they are so funny when they get scared.
