What motivates you to exercise?

    There are days that are easier than others when it comes to keeping up with your exercise routine. I know sometimes for me it can be something as simple as just wanting to sleep in or having so much to do that it makes it difficult to find time to exercise. Seeing the results of the hard work you put into your exercise is one of the things that keeps me motivated. It rejuvenates me and helps me boost my energy to get through the day.

    What are some of the things that motivate you to exercise?

    I normally exercise in the morning after breakfast and at night before hitting the bed.
    I was told it's not so good to exercise at night so please if you have any input regarding this
    issue , let me know. If it is really bad I for sure will stop doing it. Thanks for your input.

    My goal is what keeps me motivated! Right now my goal is to reach 55 kg weight, also I want to be healthy and have a good body shape and get over my insecurities, that's basically what keeps me going!

    I'm a very short 5' and cannot be too thin or fat. It's a very difficult balancing act. I'm also aware that I'm no longer a spring chicken, and as we grow older, we need to be a lot more health-conscious. I also feel far more confident and better within myself when I'm a healthy size.

    What motivates me is seeing results and jumping straight into the cold shower right after the workout.

    From the moment I wake up, my motivation is to get so tired that I feel good when I go to sleep. I spend the day trying to stay present and keep my mind in tuned with my body. One way I do this is a batch of cardio to get my endorphins up. Once that happens, I can start to crash and begin to get sleepy. Passing out from exertion is a great feeling.

    The thing that motivates me to exercise is I know to earn the things I want in life I have to take care of myself. Health is wealth so I am trying to stay on top of my fitness. I strive to push myself this whole year of 2021 to nothing but greatness.

    The shower motivates me. I absolutely hate working out but I know it's key to leading a healthy lifestyle. whenever I workout, I remind myself to sweat as hard as possible so the shower afterward feels more rewarding. I never workout to impress anyone with my body, I simply stay in shape for myself!

    Feeling lighter and energetic motivates me to workout religiously without feeling tired. I also get motivated when i am able to do stuff that i did long time ago, sometimes it can be such a hurdle, but when i remember that i can dance, or run or put on anything and be comfortable in it, i will go ahead and do my exercises without any problem, and of course to stay fit is healthy so for my own health as well.

    Having a friend or someone to support you is always the number one way I get motivated to exercise. I have been petite my whole life, yet my siblings were over weight. I was the only one who had a passion, which was dancing and doing various sports that I kept up with up until my 20's. Though in my 20's weight was not a big deal for me because due to my childhood of being so active, my high speed metabolism stayed with me. It was not until I had my first child, then second, then marriage, then 2 dogs, then my 30's. As I said good bye to my 20's, I said goodbye to my once fit body, and flawless metabolism. I went from 118lbs from high school all the way to 28, then next thing I know I am 160lbs unmotivated and depressed with what I have become.

    Luckily, I have an AMAZING husband who works out and pushes me to do something even if its a simple game of tennis with the kids, or a hike with the dogs. Though, the best thing that motivated me was finding out my friend had the same secret of secretly being depressed due to being unhappy with ourselves. We talk each other up, make sure to get each other out of the house, and go to the gym together. This makes it fun and easy, instead of being self conscious and talking yourself out. so overall, support is motivating!! and if you do not have any, their are tons of groups out there that will be more then happy to become your new support.

    I have to say that I have to overcome my inner weakness from time to time because I watch a lot of videos where you can easily create a workout at home and when I start it I lose the desire. I really want to lose weight and get in shape but I think I have to work on it myself. I think good music and a nice place to do it would help to get motivated.

    Before I suffered from pain throughout my body, once I started with the exercises my life changed drastically, but this does not happen from one day to the next, you have to work hard to see results.
