Your first phone

My first phone was one of the very first versions of Nokia. I remember it was equipped with T9 texting and I absolutely loved playing the game Snake on my phone. I loved it since it was pretty much indestructible. The only problem I remember with the phone was that I had it during a time where text messages were charged per word! My mother was very upset with myself and my sisters when we racked up quite the bill with our text messaging addiction at the time.

 

I remember being so jealous of all the other kids in my year when I was in around Year 7? Everyone had the latest iPhone, or Android or Samsung or whatever. So, when I was finally given the opportunity, what did I ask my mum to get me? An Alcatel OneTouch flip phone. For those who don't remember or know about them, they have those keyboards where you have to press the same button to switch through three letters. It was really embarrassing but I just loved how compact they were!
