Movie genre you prefer the most?

A ton of movie genres out there. The answer actually depends on personal preference, but what genre appeals to most viewers nowadays?

 

To be honest, I'm a really flexible person and easily entertained, I really versatile when it comes to movies. I enjoy movies of all kinds, recently I've been watching a lot more movies that are all over the place. I watched Luca, an animated family movie, Venom, a comedy and slightly scary movie, as well as very unpopular film, The Wild and the Wicked if I remember right. All are from different genres and I equally enjoyed each of them, I feel that people can enjoy films of every genre, whatever suits them best but some are restricted due to age, health conditions ( epilepsy and weak hearts ), or even their beliefs.

 

I believe the most watched genre of movie that people would watch is a thriller or an action movie. A lot of people like movies that grab the fear in them something they may not get in their normal lives. I know there is a lot of dangers out there but many viewers may have a mundane lifestyle especially now with Covid. People are stuck in their homes learning new crafts and hobbies but movies with some action or thrill inducing is just what is needed to get away from the mundane.
