    Are you asking what is love, or what is being in love? Those are two different things in my opinion. Love is making a strong connection with someone, while being in love with someone is being invested in them. You can love someone and still put yourself first, but when you're in love with someone you tend to put them first. There are many different perspectives on this subject but honestly I think everyone needs to find their own definitions of love. Love means different things to different people.

    What is love? Great question. Love is the outcome from the combination of trust, care, and respect between two or more individuals. I think it is a powerful feeling that can make a person feel invincible. People, when they think of love, they immediately think of a partner, couples or even sexual intercourse. Love is not just kissing with your boyfriend/girlfriend. Love goes way beyond all that. You can experience love with any person regarding of their gender, race, or location. If you think about it just in this moment you are being loved by someone and you are loving someone as well. To support a family member at any time, to help a person in need, and even laugh with a friend. It is a major feeling that shows strength and power.

    Love is something to be shared with other people. Love can be given in so many ways and it should not only be confined to husband-wife, boyfriend-girlfriend, parents-children relationships. We also have our friends, neighbors, classmates, teachers, bosses, workmates, pets, etc. with whom we can share this love aside from the people within our circle. Sure, there are different types of love, but being selfless and being able to spread the love around is something else. And it also comes in different ways such as respect, honesty, loyalty, companionship, etc.

    Above all, before you can give love to other people, you have to love yourself first so you can confidently and abundantly share it with others.

    Well, i think Love has different levels, like the one you feel for your friend and the one you feel por your parents, but all of them basically translate to caring to another being, object, or entity (god), or even yourself.

    What is love? Wonderful question. From a worldly point of view love is an unconditional commitment to an imperfect person. But, the primary meaning is found in the bible ( 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres). I believe this is the true definition of love.

    Love for me is not a noun but a verb. Love is an action word, an expression of loyalty and trust. And lastly, love for me is a sacrifice, like for example you love that person so much but he or she falls out of love to you, I think you need to set her or him free. If his or her happiness is your happines that is sacrifice.

    For me, love is devoted to a person whom we want to be happy. If we encounter love there is just two path: happiness and sadness. We could be happy if there's an exchange of love from both individuals but sadness occurs if there's one sided love.

    Love is incorporated with lots of definition but the most important characteristic of love is being unconditional.

    I think your question needs a more specific guide because this kind of question is hard to answer generally. Love is not a noun, but a verb once heard from a person who is devoted to his family. But for me love is a sacrifice you do for the happiness for the one who love. I will give a better example of my definition of love.

    I have a boyfriend for 3 years and just yesterday he had to leave to the Metro city to start a training and process his application. He is a graduate of BS in Maritime Engineering and he waited for this opportunity to come so that he can have a stable job in his field as a seafarer. His love to his family motivated him to pursue and sacrifice the distance and longing for a time. I also love him and even though it was so painful for me to saw him leaving, I have to be strong and needs to encourage him and support for him to be able to make it there. For me and for him, love is a sacrifice always. Without sacrifice, there will be no value.

    Love is a powerful feeling that makes the people happy when feel in love. Also is great to love God during the time we live on the earth and the best way to love God is to love the people everyday. If we want to live in peace we must love each other.

    Love is something that is unconditional. Love is without any selfish desires in it. True love means Expecting nothing from the person you love and this is only possible when everyone is connected to the god, who loves everyone in an unconditional way.

    Love is something that most of us have not been able to understand till today. It is said love is pure and unconditional, only a few of us have been able to achieve this. For me i don't know what love really is but what i do know is, if its real and its there then it is the best gift anyone can have. If i got a chance to experience pure love i would grab it and hold on to it till my last breath, so if you have this true love then cherish it.

    Love is a gift of God not easy to understand, but I define love as a desicion, clear that this does not have to be aware, that is when a mother is expecting a child in her womb, she without knowing choose love unconsciously, to conceive and when the child is born the mother loves him, when two people fall in love and get married is because there was an attraction but also a pecision and agreed to marry, there must be a decision before experiencing love really
