Country or Pop?

I'm a fan of both but I think I love 'Country' more. It suits my mood most of the time so I listen to it more often than Pop. Pop, on the other hand, has its charm but it depends on my mood. When I feel more lively and cheery, I listen to pop, but in my normal days, I listen to Country more often.

How about you?

 

Pop music has more relevance to me because on many occasions I listen to Pop songs during dance practice. The instrumentals from many Pop songs are more uplifting. Very little Country music is listened to within my culture and it doesn't appeal to many people within the country I live in.
Pop stars like The Black Eyed Peas are among my favourite to listen to. My favourite Pop song of all time is called Meet Me Half Way - The Black Eyed Peas.

 

I was raised around country music so it holds a special place in my heart. When I feel homesick or down I often turn on “older” country music. It will always be a go to if I don’t know what I want to listen to. My husband wasn’t a big fan of country when we first started dating, but he now enjoys a few artist. It definitely takes me home and it’s something I will always enjoy listening to, and it’s something my kids will be raised around!

 

It depends on the situation for me. If I'm partying, I would much rather be listening to pop tunes with dance-type beats, but if I'm in more of a mood for a casual/homey atmosphere than country all the way.
