Exercise is vital, it is a big part of a healthy lifestyle alongside a good diet, and good sleep.
I'm sure everyone wonders at some point how often should they exercise, and sincerely there is not an answer for everyone, everyone is different but that doesn't mean that I can't help you. Effective workouts routines contain three parts, number one being to focus specifically on one type of workout or body part (fat burn, HIIT, upper body, legs, abs, etc), with the intention that you cover the entire body by the end of the week, the second one is having rest days, because you need to give your muscles time to recover, and the las one and I think its the most important is to have good sleeping routine, sleeping not only helps recover your muscles, burn calories but it helps you overall to stay focused, energetic and in a good mood throughout the day. My recommendation is to workout 4-5 times a week as it gives your muscles 2-3 resting days, and is enough time to train the whole body.
Remember, everyone is different and you shouldn't exceed yourself to get to a certain level, with patience and perseverance you will get there. Always train safe and don't do an exercise if you don't feel ready. Good nutrition is key, try to keep your sugar low, about 40g of protein per day, and eat some carbs, they give you lots of energy.
    Have a great day.

People exercise for one of five reasons: for work, for health, for recreation, for competition, or for their appearance. The amount of exercise we need depends on your reasons for exercising, on your starting point, and on how quickly we want to achieve your goals. And the type of exercise we choose depends on our personal abilities and preferences, on your schedule, and on the facilities at your disposal.

Making health our priority, and remember to get a check-up before we start a big new exercise push. We should choose the activities that best fit our schedule, our budget, our abilities, and our taste. We should construct a balanced program by adding weight training, stretching, and exercises.

Exercise, by nature, is literally getting your body to do what it already wants to do: move, stretch, react, and exert energy. It is a natural and necessary thing for the human being to do. Lack of mobility adds to so many more problems than just not being able to fit into your jeans. It increases chances of depression, not having any motivation, not feeling connected, not being able to live life to the fullest through activities. It also decreases your expected life span.

Exercise is literally the best "self love" you can give yourself, right up there with healthy eating and getting good sleep.

I think that 3 to 4 days a week is the time it takes for your body to get used to physical activity

I love talking about fitness. It excites me because it's something I do every single day unless I am sick. I work out every day. You typically don't have to workout everyday but everyone is different. It gives me my boost energy for the day and alleviates all the stress and tension I feel from being a mom of 5 kids. I like to exercise at 5:30 in the morning and at night an hour after dinner (7 days a week). I am also able to maintain my weight and overall health goals.
