Who is your favorite band/artist? Why?

Share who your favorite band and/or artist is and why! My favorite artist is David Bowie. I first watched Labyrinth was I was 5 and I have been a fan ever since. His music is unique, as is his style, and I collect a lot of Bowie Memorabilia! Let me know who your favorite is!

 

I do have a lot of favorite artist, but the most I admired most is Michael Jackson, Why? Because he is simply amazing, an icon for me. He has an amazing vocals that gives me the chills. All of his music has a killer beat that leak to your soul. On stage he is magically sexy. No doubt he is a King of Pop.

 

My favorite singer is the Grammy Award winning and a holder of Guinness World book of Records for 5 Octaves (G#2-G#7) voice range. She is Phenomenal singer and topped the charts for incredibly 15 hits singles. And I think the only 1990's singer who is still active in writing, performing and do world tours. Do you guess who I am talking to? Yes, it is the one and only Mariah Carey.

 

There are dozens of artists I'd consider my favourite and it's really hard to just pick out one since I enjoy a wide variety of genres. It'd be much easier if I were to pick my favourite in each of the genres I enjoy instead.
Anyway, to answer the question, my favourite artist is Earl Klugh, an American Jazz guitarist and composer. I think he is one of the finest acoustic guitar players I've ever known. He's been around for decades but I came to discover his music only in 2013 and I'd say he's been my favourite since then.

Another artist I really love is Jesse Cook, an awesome flamenco guitarist, composer and producer. There's just something sweet and unique about his music.

The list could go on and on but I guess I wouldn't be answering the question then, right? My favourite is Earl Klugh because I think he's awesome. Thank you.

 

I think I have more than one band as my favourite. But, for the purpose of this question, I will give you the one I am feeling right now. It's a band called Lifehouse.

Lifehouse is an alternative rock band based in the USA. My first experience with the band was in 2010. I wish I had known them earlier because the band was formed in 1996, so I was about 14 years late. I love their style, especially because it contains a lot of guitar-playing. There are many genres that contain guitar, but Lifehouse's alternative rock is the best for me. The guitar is played softly enough to not pierce my eardrum, but hard enough to enliven me.

My favourite Lifehouse tracks include 'You and me', 'First time,'Hanging by a moment' and 'Aftermath'. My dream, ok one of my dreams, is to attend a Lifehouse concert.

 

I can say that my favorite artist is Ed Sheeran. I am so obsessed with his songs nowadays. I love that they are easy to listen and pleasing to the ears. I bought his album few months ago, and I'm still playing it until now. Photograph is my favorite song from his album, although I play Thinking Out Loud a lot. I hope that he will continue to make good music in the future.

 

I am a fan of Jim Morison and The Doors. I never get tired of listening to Jim Morrison and his band The Doors. Road House Blues is my favorite song.

I also love Pink Floyd. I love Another Brick on the Wall., the song and the concept album very much.

Sometimes I also listen to Amy Winehouse.

 

I had the same perception with you. I also like Jim Morison and Amy Whitehouse. but unfortunately she died young.
I do not particularly like the Pink Floyd, but somehow everyone had their eyes on each musician that they like it or not

 

My favorite artist is Nicki Minaj . I really like her because she sings well hip hop and also she is a beautiful and very attractive woman. I would love to personally meet Nicki . It is just too much. I also like the band Linkin Park . They are tremendous . Very good.

 

My favorite singer is Dionne Warwick. I like almost all her songs. During all my life I have enjoyed this kind of music. One of the best songs for me is "That´s what friends are for". She is a great singer and I always like to listen her songs.

 

My favorite artist is Bryan Adams. Each of his songs convey powerful messages, which one can easily relate to. 'Heaven' to me is his best song simply because it puts a smile on my face. Even though it was released in 1984, the song is still not obsolete. Some other songs which I like include 'Do I have to say the words?' and 'Summer of 69'.

 

I've a favorite DJ, DJ's ... Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, they know how to pick songs, to make people interact with them, everything. Check Bringing home the madness on youtube.

 

I cannot narrow it down to one. I love Three Days Grace, Coldplay, he Killers. But if I have to choose Coldplay would do. They can’t stop producing hits every year I am so touched by the kind of music they produce nowadays. I’ll call them the best band.

 

My favorite musical artist would probably be Wiz Khalifa because his songs are amazing. He has a musical gift that I enjoy listening to everyday. The song that I like the most is called when I Roll Up. He is a very talented artist that makes cool music and will listen to him for a long time.

 

My favorite artists are Adele and Amy Winehouse. You can call me crazy for Adele and Amy in a sense that I have have bought every album produced by these artists. Someone Like You is my favorite song from Adele and Addiction is my best song from Amy Winehouse. I feel bad that I will not be able to listen new songs from Amy Winehouse.

 

My favorite artist is Curren$y. The reason why I chose Curren$y was because over the years seeing him progress inspire me to do the same with my life. When Curren$y started his rap career he looked and sounded just like what he was supposed to become, that's what set him apart from Cash Money Records in the beginning of his career. Cash Money records had Lil Wayne and Birdman when Curren$y started in their label after he left he started Jet Life Records which now has a gross revenue of millions. He has also had a significant amount of features with top selling albums such as; The Stoned Immaculate, Pilot Talk III, and his most recent success Canal Street Confidential, his features include; Wiz Khalifa, Big K.R.I.T., and Lil Wayne. The last detail that makes him my favorite are the producers he works with such as the Alchemist who has his own production compan and is well known as one of the best producers out there.

 

I really enjoyed the Eagles back in my teens. I fell in love with Hotel California I know every word to that song. I use to go to a little pool hall they had a junk box I'd play that song back to back.

People use to hate to see me come in because they knew that song would be played over, and over those were the good ole days. Those were the days when music was really fun to listen to, and you could understand the lyrics.

 

My favorite band is 'Maroon 5'.Those five artists are sensational.Their songs have always been praised.Their best songs being 'Sugar', 'Animal', 'One More Night' are too good.They produce party songs as well as romantic songs.The beats and the lyrics which they have in their songs are so meaningful.I can't resist listening their songs.Just one word for the 'Maroon 5' is fantastic.

 

I think my preferred band is a tie between Maroon 5 and Coldplay. Yes, I know two different ends. I love both their rhythmic beats and chill tunes in addition to their up-tempo stuff. They have helped me through many bad circumstances by listening to their lyrics.

It is a tie between these two bands because both of the lead singers have truly good voices and the songs they sing are very attractive and hard to forget. For Coldplay band, they have like a Pop and Indie genre in their music while Maroon 5 has Pop genre. On my iTune I have a good amount of songs from almost all of their cool albums and to still here them from then to now is incredible but they are one of those bands that if they had a concert where I lived. I think I would have to buy the best ticket with no hesitation.

 

I know my choice won't be very popular, but I think BreakBot has solidified his place as one of the most talented producers today. He recently released a new album called Still Waters. It's a throwback to the Michael Jackson era of pop and love songs. He's just got such an amazing ear for melodies, and his lyrics are light enough to just sit back and enjoy.
