Facebook is like a child. You give it attention. You check it for every sound (alert) it makes. You constantly take care in your status updates for it the same as a human being, in some cases more than a human being. Could you make it through your day without Facebook? Or better yet, could you go a full month without Facebook? What would you do in place of it?

I use Facebook mainly to stay in touch with my children who live out of town. I check it once a day for messages from them and pictures of my grandchildren. Could I live without it? Yes. I would miss seeing the pictures they post and using it to stay in touch with them, but I lived without for many, many years and I could live without it now. I do not go online a lot, maybe twise a day to see what is new with my kids or to look up recipes or check the news, so Facebook and the Internet are not a big part of my life.

Before I became a Network Marketer, I would say that I used Facebook just to catch up with my friends and family. But now it is a way to meet new people and work my business.

I enjoy connecting with new people and also reading others posts. I like to make people laugh mostly and that is what my posts are mostly about.

I'm constantly online either on my laptop or my phone. It can be a hindrance though when I'm with my family or out on a date with my husband. I try to ignore it but most times I'm not successfull lol.

It has been at least two weeks since I last logged into my Facebook account. I no longer see its place in my daily life as I don't like sharing my life that much. It is a useful tool for business and that's what I intend to use it for. I am just getting my feet wet, wading through the waters of internet marketing and I have found that Facebook can help get me some traffic. I once paid for Facebook ads and found the system to be working perfectly well. I think Facebook is slowing down as a mere social media platform. There are faster ways of communicating nowadays. Ok, I am only talking about WhatsApp. The good thing for Mark is that Facebook acquired WhatsApp so no loss.

I used to be extremely active on Facebook about two years ago but Whatsapp seems to have taken its place. I still use it and I login almost everyday but mostly just for business purposes. I use the facebook ads service and I think it accounts for most of my 'Facebook time'. If not for this great service, I think I'd do without Facebook.

Earlier i used Facebook mainly to check the latest feeds and updates of my friends and relatives. It is indeed a great way to connect.

But now mostly what I like about Facebook are the posts which people like. As these posts help you learn a lot about the world, politics, recipes, movies, sports.... Each post has something to interest you. So I think I have adopted Facebook as my first child :)

I'm on Facebook quite a bit for new work at home notices and to keep in touch with friends. I also talk to some family on there. Right now I'm pregnant so I also go on to let others know how I'm doing and to post about how excited I am about my new baby. If all of a sudden there was no more Facebook I think I could survive because there would still be email and other ways to stay in touch. I could totally make it without Facebook but I'll miss it at first since I'm on it a lot. If Facebook ever went away I would find some other online site just like it or send postal mail to people I know if I can't do anything online.

Now that I have Facebook I really don't think that I could survive without it. I am a bit of a Facebook addict. I have to log in every day no matter where I am at. It stays opened on my computer all day long and I am constantly checking it out. I use it to keep in contact with my many family and friends around the world. Without Facebook I would probably never talk to most of them on the phone or through email. I enjoy reading what everybody is up to in their daily lives. I, also, like looking at all the numerous pictures that people post. Without Facebook I would be lost. I have no idea how I would ever survive!

I like Facebook because I can talk with old friends, co-workers and family that live far away from me. With this social network we can feel closer to them.
However I could, easily, live without Facebook. Actually, I'm not the kind of user that posts everything. I only post some pictures and news, time to time. Also, I don't use Facebook everyday. I only go there when I have some spare time.

I think that surviving without Facebook is not difficult for most of us. At least we can find the way to live without it for some days. Because, nowadays, it is not the only way to communicate with our friends and we can easily share our photos or other files through any other social network.
As for me I log into my Facebook account once a week or when there is a notification. So living without Facebook is not problem for me.

Sure people can survive without Facebook as long as there are other ways to communicate with their family and friends without the use Facebook. I mainly use Facebook to talk to my loved ones without using credits from my phone. I don’t use this website to stalk or just to be updated on the lives of my online friends, so I think that I can stop using it if I want to.

I most definitely can. It only helps me be constantly updated about my friends and their lifestyle. Now that WhatsApp became prevalent, I rarely tend to go to Facebook. So, if you asked me this question 2 years back, the answer would have been no. But now, yes.

I have a facebook account but I could easily delete it tomorrow and not be too upset. I prefer to post on forums and have proper discussion rather than take part in day to day banter that doesn't really mean anything.

I do however like to keep in touch with friends I don't see very often. I have some friends in both the US and Australia and facebook makes it easy to contact them when I need to.

I could easily live without Facebook. I check Facebook once a week. Actually when Facebook went down for an hour , people called 911. Thats just sad.

I could survive without Facebook. I don't use it unless I want to talk to an old friend. More than anything else, I use Facebook to login to games like CandyCrush. Sometimes, games will give you an extra bonus for signing up through Facebook.

I would not want to survive without Facebook but, I think I could if I had to. Like many have answered here I use Facebook to keep in touch with family and friends. Since my husbands family all live in USA and we live in Canada, Facebook is a great place to talk. I love that Facebook now has video chat available. We use this a lot. It's not quite as good as a real visit but it helps to ease the lonely feeling one gets when far away from family. Also my 2 girls are both away at university and I use Facebook to keep in touch with them.

I could easily live without Facebook. When I lived my days of youth , nor was there this social network let alone the internet. We lived well , we performed many tasks in person and the world continued to spin. I agree that the internet helps a lot these days but there is a misuse of this tool that unfortunately is not good for many people.:(

I never really saw the point in Facebook, since I can contact my friends via Skype. I mostly keep it right now because one of my means of earning money online requires a FB account, and I have one friend who checks FB more than she checks Skype. So yes, I could live without it.

Definitely I will because the main friends stream of me is on Twitter.Though I have my facebook account but I think the other social media application i.e Whatsapp or Viber have been dominated much because of their easy graphical interface for chats or even making calls.I would say that there always exist alternatives of everything.so, it depends upon us that whether we are addicted to some site or not.
