We played "Billy Billy Bumble Bee, I see something you can see, and it is _____. We say the color of whatever it was and the other person had to name it. If you were close - we would say, "You are getting warmer or You are red hot." If you weren't close at all, we would say, "You are cold as ice."

This would keep us entertained for hours on rainy days especially.

What were your favorite games as children?

Well I played every single Nintendo game as a kid but I mostly played Mario and Pokémon. I don't quite remember the name but there was also a game with tanks where there was also a level editor. I played all of these on the original Nintendo. The first time I got a pc I was playing Zuma and some other small games. Then I started playing Conquer Online. After that I started playing Counter Strike 1.6. Counter strike has always had an effect on me as I still play Counter Strike Global Offensive.

Mario kart on the Wii, I was addicted to it always trying to beat my own scores, I had a lot of records on various circuits, I got to the top 10 on Bowser Castle SNES I think. I got into tournaments and stuff, it was super fun! I knew every shortcut of the maps and had all of the characters and the specials Miis, awesome game totally forgot how I addicted I was to it.

My siblings and I played lots of games on 8bit consoles. We played Mario Bros and it was fun, but not as much fun as The Jungle Book. The Jungle Book was a little more life-like and the story was a big part of the game too. It gave us reason to try to finish the game just to see how the story went. I had played Contra a lot, which involves guns and bombs, and Jungle Book was such a pleasant departure from all that. I also had fun playing The Goonies but I never got to finish the game.

The game of which I was really a big fun of was Mortal Kombat. I spent nights just playing the game, learning new moves especially fatalities and brutalities. I also remember playing Sonic the Hedgehog a lot, but I found the game to be repetitive and lacking in freshness between stages.

I loved Sonic the Hedgehog for the Sega Genesis as a kid. Those games were really my very first video games I ever played, and I still have fond memories of playing them for hours on end as a kid.

As a child, I use to love playing Super Mario World on my Game Boy Color. I would spend hours trying to complete the worlds. It was fun and frustrating at the same time. I felt like a failure every time I struggled through a world. When I finally made it through a world, I felt like the Queen of the universe! It was a great feeling of accomplishment. I recall a day when I didn't eat dinner until I had finished making it through a world!

Well I compete each single Nintendo game as a child however I principally compete Mario and Pokémon. i do not quite keep in mind the name however there was additionally a game with tanks wherever there was additionally A level editor. I compete all of those on the initial Nintendo. the primary time I got a laptop i used to be taking part in Zuma and a few different tiny games. Then I started taking part in Conquer on-line. then I started taking part in Counter Strike one.6. Counter strike has forever had a control on Pine Tree State as I still play Counter Strike world Offensive.

The Adventures of Bayou Billy is the one game that I grinded most of my childhood just because of its sheer complexity. I never really beat the game, especially since Internet wasn't available after time. the only source of gaming knowledge to help us as gamers was Nintendo Power which I myself couldn't afford to subscribe to.

As a kid, it was all about Super Mario Bros. I stayed up for 48 hours playing Super Mario Bros once. I obviously lied to my parents and told them that I just got up early to play. It was so much fun that I couldn't put it down. Video games are addictive. I usually have to kick my son off the game so that he doesn't do what I did once upon a time. I miss those games from way back when though. They made sense. You had to go to this specific place and find this specific thing in order to beat the level. The games these days aren't that structured any more.

First game would be Diablo II. I would spend ages trying to explore the realms of the game and it occupied most of my time. Another game would be Age of empires. That game was strategically the best game at that point of time. As for another genre, I also liked God of War and Zelda. Both of them made me fall in love with games at quite an early age.

When I was a teenager I used to play Tetris and Pacman, later I started to play Caeser, Age of Empires and Command and Conquer. Caeser and Age of Empires were my favorites, I loved to spend hours building cities and finding strategies to level up.

When you want to talk about games that I lived by and died by as a child and still do today monopoly comes to mind first and foremost. Love love love monopoly. I find that a lot of people say its too long it takes for ever to win blah, blah, blah. What I'm thinking in my head is, no it just takes you too long to lose lol. But enough about monopoly and old time board games, after all that says 2015 right? Let's talk about video games, more specifically the one that shaped my childhood. Drum roll please, Mario Brothers! All forms of Mario Brothers but expecially 3, on Super Nintendo. None of the new stuff can compare in my opinion. But what do I know I'm just a grown woman that won't go anywhere near a video game these days.

@Indi5k I love monopoly, my childhood was not filled with video games. I played a lot of board games such as monopoly, game of life, cluedo etc. I played tag, hide and seek, tetris and some other brick games on a tetris game console and I spent a lot of time playing with my toys, making up stories till I was about 10-11 when I got a Nokia Ngage and got introduced to the world of video games.

I do remember the Nitendo console, playing it for hours with my friends, but nothing like the first Playstation, it was amazing. However the first console that I had was the Gameboy (GB), I was only 5 years old and at that time my favorite game was Tetris, but the game of the GB the I liked the most was Supermario 2, I was so addicted to it that I spent mounths playing it and only stopped when I finished the game, I felt like I'd achieved a great feat. Little boy stuff.

Indi5k I loved Monopoly too, I remember the good time I had playing it with my sister and father, very amusing. But I also played with them Risk, a very good game for those who like strategy like myself.

Speaking of strategy, I now remeber the PC game Starcraft and more recently Rome Total War. I also liked to play city builders as Sim City 3000, and life simulation The Sims (original).

    Good times!

Oh games, when I was child I was a happy palying my gameboy and in my pc. I liked so much playing that I could make a huge list.

In my gameboy I'm with NetMark, Super Mario 2 was the game, and yes of course who didn't played tetris.

But in my PC my passion where strategy games, and like darktorn, I played a lot of Age of Empires (AoE), but I prefered the AoE II. Caeser, yes I remember, good game.

I played a lot Diablo II, nice one.

Oh childhood times where did you go?

As a kid I played my GameCube dang near to death. I love playing the Sims games, "Busting Out an The Sims Ubrz" I loved how I could make the characters look anyway I wanted to, Plus I could give them the adult life I'd day dreamed about as a child. That I still play till this very day, On PC now. But still it was and still is a awesome game.

n my childhood I used to play many games by going in a game parlor. I used to go there on a regular basis and paly a lot of games. However, the game I played most is Tekken 3. It's really an amazing game full of action and fun. My favourite player was King and Gon. I was an expert of this game at that time.

Not only me many of my friends were also fond of this awesome game. They were also an expert of their own favourite player. We used to challenges each other and practice our skills. It was really a great time playing this game with my friends.
