Well, I don't know about you but the Bible scripture that still echos in my mind today is Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go". This scripture and I believe as Joshua gives me a lot of courage and boldness to know that I am not alone but my creator is with me wherever I go and whatever I do.

I remember the passage, but not the exact verse. It's Psalm 27:1. " The Lord is my Light and my Salvation. Whom shall I fear?" There's a song for this that I still love to sing. Whenever I feel afraid and know that I am not doing anything wrong, I always remember that verse. Another is John 3:16, which I think, is one of the most memorized if not the most memorized version. It says the core of a Christian belief "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." Beautiful and awesome.

John 3:16 is a passage I learnt in one of my Sunday School classes when I was ten. I have discovered that it is one of the most popular verses of the Bible. I am convinced that this scripture tacitly captures the essence of birth, death and resurrection of Jesus. It speaks volumes of God's inestimable love for humanity:
'For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.'
