Survivor is the greatest reality show to ever grace television. Without survivor none of these other shows these rip offs would ever exist. Rock on survivor 30th season ❤️

Oof! Tricky question. Reality shows, these days, seem so designed for conflict. Deliberate personalty types are cast to make drama. Having said that, though, I will say that Alone, on the History channel, was pretty intense and i was addicted.

The best part about survivor is when they are made to eat nasty food. After that part I usually do not watch the whole show, but so far my favorite Reality show would be Hero, hosted by the Rock. I think the reason I first watched it was merely because the Rock was hosting it, but after two episodes, the show was realy catchy and interesting.

I must say overall, I HATE reality shows. I watched half an episode of Survivor when it first came out, and maybe an episode of Big Brother back at the same time. Never again. Not even Fear Factor sucked me in. I didn't like seeing them all bickering and being forced to eat bugs and such. To me they were more like Jerry Springer meets Castaway lol.

I actually do enjoy watching Canada's Worst Driver though. It's not quite the same type of show you guys are talking about though.

I like Cake Boss because I like to bake. The cakes are so amazing. I've seen them make cakes shaped into animals and people. One day, God gave me a really great business idea while watching that show. I am still working on getting it started.

I would like to make a case for The Biggest Loser.
Though only in its ninth season, this show, more so
than many I have seen (expect perhaps Extreme
Makeover: Home Edition) , has the capacity to change
lives. The "prize" of the show is a healthier lifestyle,
and even participants who are eliminated in the
first weeks reap benefits from their experience.
That is to say nothing of the show's inspirational
and philanthropic value. Because many of the
contestants literally find themselves in life or death
situations with regard to their weight, their
journeys throughout the show are extremely
poignant for viewers. The show has inspired many
viewers to get in shape themselves, and thanks to
the Pound for Pound challenge, The Biggest Loser (in
conjunction with Feeding America, Subway, 24
Hour Fitness, and General Mills) has pledged over
4,000,000 pounds of food to food banks since the
    program's inception.
