Computers have brought a lot of benefits in the world. Before the invention of the machines, it seems life was very difficult. Imagine doing everything manually. Most processes are now automated, courtesy of computers.
On the negative side, however, we have to address the issue of health related to computers. We all know that computers are being applied in the health sector to help diagnose diseases, keep patient records, take X-rays and body scans, among others. Well, these are the positive aspects of computers in the health sector.
Have you ever asked yourself if there are any health effects associated with computers? Computers emit radiations that are harmful to the body's Biological systems. Researchers advise that we are not supposed to keep electronic devices too close to our bodies. Computers, being among the electronic devices, should be kept far from the body. Laptops, as the name suggests, were designed to be put on the laps when being used. Health wise, it is not recommended that we should keep laptops on our laps.
Prolonged use of computers has also been associated to many more illnesses, such as eye strain and back pains.
It is not easy to avoid using computers at all, since they are beneficial. Therefore, care should be taken so as not to be affected by these computer-associated health conditions.
