Some people agree that it is better to be smart emotionally than to have only a high IQ.

To conclude this they are based on that, in addition to being very good for numbers, reading, calculations, etc., we must also know how to act in certain situations, have the appropriate attitudes and behaviors, constantly controlling our emotions to always reflect good actions, especially when it comes to interrelating with other people.

An example of this could be when we have to look for a job, if we do not control our nerves, fears or insecurities, we may do poorly in the selection interviews, but if instead we recognize those emotions and do our best to control them, avoiding that they govern our decisions or actions, the results could be better.

What do you think about it?

I see your point and I totally agree that they both are equally important. As the saying goes its better to have a good heart and a good brain.A good grasp of both is what makes exceptional leaders.

Hello, thank you for your opinion, it is very interesting, on this subject there is much that could be discussed, for example, there are experts on the subject that support the theory of multiple intelligences, that is, we can be intelligent from different persepctives, inside of them, are the musical and sports one, Don't you think this is something curious?

These are totally different approaches to those we were used to dealing with.
