Facebook Logics

Is it common knowledge that some teens today see Facebook as a place for mostly older people?! I remember when I discovered Facebook and it was like the most amazing thing in existence. I was in a discussion recently and a few of my nieces were laughing when I said I would upload some photos online, they asked if it was on insta? (which took me a while to know what meant)and I gave them the puzzling look that matched my thoughts. They said they do not do FB and for me that was a shocker and hilarious at the same time.

 

I think it depends which social media is popular at the moment, once it's Facebook, then it's Twitter, now it's Instagram. Young people like to go with the social media that are popular because their friends are likely to be using that same ones.
