Favorite Artist

When it comes to art and being able to enjoy it, I like the works of Van Gogh, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and Thomas Kinkade.If I had to chose however, I would have to say that Thomas Kinkade is my favorite. I say this because he painting look so realistic, almost like you could jump right into the painting and live life there. Although I like Van Gogh, Michelangelo, and Leonardo da Vinci as well, I do not get that same feeling when I look at their paintings.

 

Both of my favourite artists are quite contemporary. The first one is rather unknown. She is a Thai artist named Yuree. She does these beautiful cartoonish paintings and murals using bold colours and multimedia art.

My second favourite artist is Yayoi Kusama. She is pretty famous internationally right now. She is famous for her dots. Her paintings are often duotone filled with these incredible dots.
