There is a current trend in education that is worth taking a look at and considering. More and more classrooms are being equipped with flexible seating as opposed to traditional seating which is usually desks in rows. Flexible seating is adding a variety of options to the classroom for students to choose from based on their comfort and needs.

Some examples of flexible seating are exercise balls, stools, benches, pillows and just about anything else you can think of for kids to sit on as they learn in their classrooms. As you can imagine, there are people that are concerned about such an array of seating, but research is beginning to show it makes a difference in learning for kids. After all, that's what education is all about is student learning. Do you have any strong feelings about flexible seating in classrooms?
