How can i Fix Thick white and yellow vertical lines that appear on my laptop screen?

    I woke up this Morning,only to find two Thick vertical lines on my laptop’s screen. I wonder what is causing this kind of an issue.Can this either be caused by a software problem or a hardware problem? Is there anybody out there who can help me with advice of how i can solve this issue? Am stuck.Thank you in advance.
