How to make music?

As a violinist, I always had the desire to compose my own songs but had a terrible time coming up with anything. If you are a musician, please let me know how you compose or what drives your desire and creativity to create something magnificent.

 

All I do when I want to compose a music is not so complex.
Firstly, I know what I want to sing about, the theme/title of my song,
Secondly, I decide the beat and the tempo I want for the song.
Thirdly, I would him a tune for it
Then I would began to sing different set of words into the tune.

As a violinist, composing a song shouldn't be a difficult task for you as you already know the basics of music.
Try more and more, and you will see that you started singing.
