Coconut oil is one of the best home remedies for cracked hands, feet, fingers, and every part of the body. This ingredient is so perfect to moisturize your hand skin as it contains antifungal, antimicrobial properties that can kill bacterial infections very well. What is the method to use coconut oil for cracked hands?

This method should be applied before bedtime. You soak your hands in warm water and scrub them with loofah.
Dry the hands and apply coconut oil gently.
You can wear soft gloves through the night and wash them in the next morning.
You can do this treatment every day to get the best benefits.

Dry hands is a common problem. Not dangerous but certainly irritating. It can be cause by a lot of factors. The causes might be:
    1. Environmental conditions, usually during cold weather.

    2. Working conditions. People that require too much handwashing, such as waiters, dishwashers, nurses, doctors may notice dry hands.

    3. Medical conditions. Psoriasis and eczema are skin diseases that causes skin inflammation, dry hands, skin peeling and cracking. When you know the cause of your problem, you can apply the best remedy.

    Here are possible remedies:
    1. Moisturize. The one mentioned by Beautiful Maria is a good way to moisturize. Also, you can use Vaseline if you don't want to make your own moisturizer. Apply lotion or moisturizing cream several times a day. It locks in the moisture in your skin.

    2. Hydrate. Always drink lots of water. 8-12 glasses a day, it's not just good for the skin but for your entire health.

    3. Wear gloves for those expose to frequent handwashing and chemicals.

    4. Know when to consult a doctor. Consider medication.

Causes of having dry skin may vary. Sometimes its causes are the environmental factors like hot and cold weather and long exposure of skin to the sun or soaking skin in hot water for example. However, there are still natural remedies to aid the dryness, if and only it is not that severe.

There are some natural remedies like soaking the dry affected in the oats mixture. Just add oats to bath water, mix some warm olive oil or jojoba in a basin then soak hands for about 10-15 minutes. You can exfoliate with some mixture of sugar and olive oil.
If the case is severed you can consult a dermatologist about such case.
