In the News

When it comes to watching the news I try not to watch it unless I have to. I do this not becuase I do not care about what is going on in the world or around me, but it seems like every time that I turn on the news either someone has lost their life or has been arrested. This may also come from personal experience as well because when I was 16 years old and i watch the news I found out that my grandmother had lost her life by the hands of her new husband. Another reason why I do not watch the news is becuase, every time that I watch my local news they cover news stories that most times have no truth to them. I feel that Ishould at least be able to believe the news if I'm going to watch it.
