Is it okay to use marijuana for medical purposes?

    There is an ongoing debate in my country whether or not the use of marijuana must be allowed for medical purposes. There are some groups saying that it can help people who are terminally ill. There are also groups saying that there is not enough study to prove this claim. One thing is for sure though. I am against the use of marijuana for recreational purposes.
