Is the Bible supporting polygamy?

    I'm a bit confuse about the portion of the Bible that says that, 2 or more women in the last days will hold unto one guy to married them or better still allow them to just bear his name.

    Looking at that portion, it seem God was of the opinion that men should marry more than 1 wife,so as not to make women go through a phase like that?

    Why is your take concerning this?
