Is there any sporting activity that can outshine football (soccer)?

Soccer is not only regarded as the best but also the most popular sport in the world in the world. Soccer which originates from England in the late centuries has dominated all other sporting activity and solidified its position as the number one sport in the world. It’s no surprise when some say “soccer is life”.

The simplicity, rules, consistency, global attraction, wealth generation, beauty, structure, scale and passion is something to be beheld. Soccer is the world’s wealthiest, most-watched and most popular sport. There is a strong indication that soccer’s dominance is inevitable as it’s deeply ingrained in our psyche.

Baseball, rugby, cricket, basketball, and tennis are the nearest contenders but can they ever reach the scale of soccer? That is a question one cannot fathom the answer to at present.
