Mining

What do you think are the pros and cons of mining?

 

For me, the pros of mining is we can find new resources that is needed in the production of virgin materials that will be needed in producing producys for the mass. That is the main thought of mining to acquire things that we will be using for our necessities.
On the other hand, many mining corporation are irrespinsible and they put a credible threat into the people nearby the mining are, the miners and even the environment. Many mining companies doesn't meet the proper standards in mining. Some of them over mine a place and some just left a place. Worstly some just poisoned the land and cannot be used for thousand of years.

 

The pros are that we can get the resources to run society easily, and make money. The cons are deforestation, carbon emissions sucking the nutrients from the land, and the dangers that the miners have to face. Also eventually the planet might collapse in on itself in places unless we place supports in the tunnels but that would require more mining in order to build something like that.
