Who loves Netflix? Well, I'm one of the people out there that can't seem to stop watching it. At times, I become frustrated with the lack of content, but then there will be some movie or TV show that drags me back in. I find myself binging and not getting things in my life done. I mostly find myself watching while I eat dinner and not wanting to stop or scrolling through movies to see what is new.

I just can't seem to get my craving under control. Anyone for a support group?

I feel the same way. I know I watch way too much Netflix. It’s so easy to start watching any show with a ton of seasons and not be able to stop! I don’t even have a cable subscription anymore. All I watch is Netflix and Hulu.

Netflix is extremely addictive. I'm always on it now, because I don't like the normal terrestrial TV or Sky channels. You can browse digital TV all day and not find one interesting TV show to watch. On Netflix I think there's a lot more choice, and you are far more in control of what you watch. What's not to like! It's also good when you're lying in bed and vegging out. I do think though, if it stops you from going out and socialising I would definitely seek support because that's never healthy.

I think that it is helpful sometimes to watch mindlessly if it relieves stress. Agreed, it can be out of control without you even knowing, but there are always signs. You know, like when you decide you want to wear a diaper because you don't want to have to get up to pee, or you don't eat for hours because you are too lazy to get up (or the opposite). Either way, a support group sounds like a fine idea for most people now.

I'm that one family member that actually pays for Netflix. Recently, I had a dispute with Netflix regarding the monthly membership fee increasing again. It is currently $17.26 per month for four devices. I don' get to watch Netflix often, but when I do, it's to binge watch my "Netflix Originals." I mark my calendar, and anticipate the release of the new season, the entire year. I do notice that the list of movie under the category "New Releases," are older movies from the 90's. This day in age there are too many ways to get free cable & movie channels. Netflix may want to step it up if they want to keep up with the times.

I think I am also becoming addicted to Netflix. I can't seem to stop watching until the end of the series. Sometimes, I will sleep at 2 in the morning just to finish the whole season, even if I still have to prepare for a 7 A.M. work. Now, I am currently watching The End of the Fucking World.

I used to be addicted to Netflix. I appreciated that I can watch what I want, when I want, and how I want. I don’t have to watch commercials, and I can watch entire seasons of shows I miss because I rarely watch TV.

However, I recently noticed that Netflix has removed many of the TV shows and movies that I enjoy watching while increasing the price of its service. I have been more than a little disappointed in recent months with the amount of content that has been removed or replaced with content that isn’t as good. I understand some of this is due to contracts expiring, but I wonder why Netflix doesn’t fight harder for the contracts on shows and movies that are popular on the Netflix platform.

I agree, Netflix is indeed addicting. It interferes with my everyday life. I’m currently watching Greys anatomy. I am completely frustrated with what is happening right now that I’m ignoring it like I’m in a fight with them.

In the past I finished Friends, Charmed, Criminal Minds and Gilmore Girls. I would sit there for hours doing nothing but staring at the screen, I would ditch my friends and family to finish a season. I would stay up late and be exhausted for school the next day. It was a real problem.
