I graduated from a state school with a philosophy major and an anthropology minor. I remember when I first declared my major, the faculty told me that a philosophy degree was versatile and that, with the skills I built in my courses, would have lots of opportunities.

Personally, I've found that to be the case. I've worked in education, writing, archaeology and wildlife rehabilitation. My degree hasn't limited me per se, but it definitely didn't prepare me for a specific career path like another degree might have.

So, fellow philosophy majors, do you consider your degree worth it? If you could, would you go back and change your major? If so, what would you major in?
