A Ship is always safe at shore but one must always ask if that's what it's built for.It is easy to have people in our lives who tell us what to do next, parents who have not stopped parenting their wards even when they have kids of their own.We often get used to these cushions and instructions of next steps, while we look forward to a time when we will be announced to have arrived.Sadly with life, there's no such thing as an arrival.

That's not how it works. Not onot our careers, not our relationships and certainly not our lives. We have always arrived (at locationso and events) but we have never arrived.

Wherever you go,there you are. You're never going to arrive because you are already there. There's no division between the painful going and the joyous arriving. If we let it,the going can be the joyous part.It turns out that arrival isn't the point,it can't be,because we spend all our time in the journey.

Often times those who actually arrived are those loved ones we lost and buried.Life in itself is a constant journey of growing and refining who we are.

    #Reflections.
