The God Particle

A few years ago, we saw scientists celebrate the fact that they had found a new particle (never seen before) in mother nature. They named this particle the Higgs Boson or The God Particle. This was made possible by colliding two beams of protons at trillions of electron volts.

A particle like this was the fuse that set off the explosion that created the universe. Everything we see around us, the galaxies, the planets and even life itself is a byproduct of an explosion caused by a Higgs like particle. With the help of large hadron collider in Geneve, Switzerland, the possibilities are interminable.
