Many people nowadays begin to realize, that watching TV is annoying, and that there are better alternatives to how to spend time.

First of all, we have to understand, that TV’s content goes through a serious and expensive process. One could have brilliant ideas for a movie or a show, but would lack the budget for it. Therefore, we won’t even know that a brilliant and genius director is somewhere out there, making something decent.

Secondly, there is a lot of “spam” on TV, such as ads and forced commercials.

It’s quite annoying how in the middle of a show during climax of an event, suddenly pops out a long advertisement, and you’re either forced to watch it or switch channel. Only to find out that you’re late and missed the culmination of that epic event.

In conclusion, it’s just a lot more easier to find an online movie platform on the PC or smartphone in order to watch something peacefully.

You can avoid adverts by recording a broadcast and skipping/fast forwarding past them, waiting for a show to be uploaded somewhere with the ads cut out, or for offical dvd/streaming release.

Here in the UK we have several non-commercial channels that don't show ads in the middle of programmes, just trailers for other shows between them, so ads aren't a problem for everything.

Commercials aren't spam, the only time you'll see spam on tv is people joking about/reading 'funny ' emails, adverts for tinned meat or if you're watching Monty Python.
