Best android tablet

    I currently have the Kindle Fire HD and while I do like it, I've basically made it half a Kindle and half an Android as I've made it possible to sideload all of the apps I want and use a launcher. However, I think I would like to have an actual Android tablet and restore my Kindle back to a standard Kindle. There are just too many Android tablets out there, so I'd like some recommendations.

    I had a Kindle Fire HD like you in the past. I actually still have it, but for some reason the speeds have lowered on it to the point that its pretty much unusable. I had a friend with a Nexus 7 at the time and I wish I had gotten it. There are more apps because it has the Google Play Store in addition to the Amazon App Store. It still works and is much better. If I were you, I would either go for the newest Nexus tablet, or a Samsung Galaxy Tab.
