I sometimes go because it is really welcoming and closer to my home.

It is a regular non-denominational Christian Church.

I feel it is a sin however because they only receive communion once per month and that is done via grape juice and actual crackers.. (Saltines, no lie.)

What is more important is your spiritual encounter with God.

Taking the communion once a week is not a sin. What about in nations where it is illegal to be a Christian and where the believers do not have an opportunity to take communion. Are they doomed to eternal damnation? Of course not.

I am a Christian but I often go to the Silent Prayer Room of a Roman Catholic Church to be alone in prayer with God. God wants us to have a personal relationship with Him. He is not counting how many times we break bread at church.

    Hope this helps.

When you are a Catholic, you are a taught a catechism of the catholic church, and prayers such as apostles Screed to believe in one Holy, Catholic and apostolic church! This automatically stops you from believing in any church or rather serving any other church!
