    Hi Rasheed1958.

You technologically are correct that today's cell phone has not only one, yet many advantages and benefits. However, the advantages that you've listed such as not needing to write letters, and not needing to travel to speak to someone predates the "cell phone" and traces back to the "telephone" itself. Alexander Graham Bell, in 1885, introduced by way of the telephone itself those fine advantages. The cell phone has simply capitalized on the concept of a person speaking into a device and being spoken back to by someone who is miles away (even countries away).

You were meticulous to use the word "may" when you stated that cell phone use may increase the risk of cancer. It's still medically uncertain that a cell phone by way of its emission of radio frequency is any type of cause of brain cancer (or restlessness, sleeplessness and depression for that matter). These are powerful claims to make without medical and scientific references to support such claims. Interesting post, nonetheless, I must say. (smiles)
