Grace is a common word that's actually said by approximately 75% of people worldwide. But out of this number, it's sad to know that only 15% know the meaning of this word "grace". Early in the morning at church one day, a pastor asked one of the congregants, "what's grace?" With a serious look on his face, the man answered, "grace is a person." Suddenly, the whole church was in laughter except the pastor. "He's right!" Said the pastor, "grace is a person and His name is Jesus."

Grace is unmerited Favour. When something positive happens to you don't deserve it or you didn't work for it, that's grace.

Religious people attribute grace to God, atheist call grace luck. Which ever name you give it, grace makes life easy.

That's it! Unmerited, undeserved and unearned favor of God. None of man, all of God!

You are so right. Grace is depicted in the story of the woman caught in the act of adultery. She was found guilty and brought to the Messiah to be judged. Even though her accusers had the wrong motive for bringing her to him, it was the perfect opportunity to show an example of his grace. His simple response "let he who is without sin cast the first stone at her." The Bible said "for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." This makes it clear that we are all guilty of breaking God's Law, therefore we all deserve to die because the wages of sin is death. And so the savior made this point very clear in his response to the scribes and the pharisees. The punishment for anyone found in this act was death, however He stepped in and gave her grace. She did not deserve it because she was guilty of breaking the Law, however she was not condemned to death but was pardoned for her sins and through the grace of our heavenly father was told, "go and sin no more." Grace, God's unmerited favor.
