Mechanical Engineering versus Aerospace Engineering

    What advice would you give to a person/student who is going to college and is not sure which of these courses to pursue. As far as I know, there are few chances to get a job as a fresh Aerospace Engineering graduate but if you get that chance you Will probably be way ahead of of a Mechanical Engineering graduate. Can you pursue both fields at the same time ? or which is better ?
