Do you believe that teacher motivation is important for their overall performance? Imagine a situation whereby a teacher does the same routine work without interesting activities in between (e.g trainings, workshops, staff tours etc). It makes one too dull.

Good remuneration only, can't help a teacher realise their full potential. They also need to be placed in situations which make them be open minded, while learning new classroom strategies. Every student is unique and therefore, a motivated teacher will be able to fulfill the needs of each student adequately.

I agree new activities like training and workshops would certainly make teachers enjoy their job more, but if we're talking about motivation, nothing can beat a good salary. Having said that, I believe that their wage should depend on their students' performance on different tests. These tests should be conducted independently in another facility and students should be evaluated by teachers they don't know. If teachers get financial bonuses for their students' good marks, they will be motivated to give their absolute best in providing an excellent education.
