What Is It With Football And Heavy Metal??

    Has anyone else ever wondered what the connection is between heavy metal and football? Specifically, AC/DC and Ozzy Osborne / Black Sabbath.
    My family and I have been season ticket holders for our local university football program for decades. Without fail, we ALWAYS hear certain songs.... Crazy Train, Back In Black, Thunderstruck, etc. When we visit other schools' stadiums, it's the SAME SONGS! Even when we watch collegiate games on TV, same songs.
    Any theories on why this is?
