Open user profile on rating page

    It would be great if instead of opening the link, it would open the writers profile page. That would save admins a few minutes.

    Cool thanks! Could it also open the profile page on the forums instead of the main site? The forum profile is useful to read postings from writers before rating.

    Ah I see what you meant. That would be a bit more difficult because different forum software uses a different url for user profiles. I would have to add the type of forum software to the database upon submission. That shouldn't be too hard. It will take a bit more time to implement though.

    No worries. :)

    I'm almost done. The last (and hardest) step is to update all the "theforuwheel.php" files and include a line that sends back the user id upon subscribing. This way we can create a link directly to that user's profile. I wish the software was designed to only require the usernames and not the IDs but oh well.

    Alright, new feature is complete. To use it you will need to update the file on your server. You can download the latest file here. If you have a custom file with special code for your site then provide it here and I'll add the needed code for that particular file.

    It's working now. I ran an update query to load the user IDs into our database. All you have to do now is the go into your site settings and update the forum software since that is a new field. After that you should be able to access subscribers directly from your ratings page.

    Since we got it working on the rate page, I guess it wouldn't be too much to ask if the same was done on the subscribers page? :p
