Big Pharma

We are in a day and age where doctors prescribe us pills we don't need for conditions that don't exist. It is a win win. Big pharma gets bigger and richer and we get higher or just die!

The pharmaceutical industry is not entirely evil. In fact they have made important discoveries like insulin which has saved millions of lives or the countless vaccines that have protected us at one point from diseases like measles and hepatitis. The problem with big pharma is it is literally killing people and it is making a profit doing so. The question remains, why are so many people still taking prescription drugs if they are so dangerous?

 

I feel like a lot of people still take so many medications, because they trust their doctor. Their doctor has gone through the schooling and has the degree, so they must know what's best, right? Unfortunately, that isn't always the case. It is important as an individual to take control of our own health and research all the options out there. Sometimes pharmaceuticals are the best option, sometimes they are not. Just be informed!
