    The 4th of July is right around the corner. A few weeks ago, I did a project where I planned an itinerary to visit different countries outside of the U.S. Did you know that other countries don't celebrate the 4th of July? I had no clue until I was trying to figure out what to do on that day while I was in the U.K. When someone told me, I was shocked. I guess I'd never really thought about it. How do other countries celebrate their independence? Does this type of holiday even exist in other countries? Let me know.

    My country Kenya became independent on December 12, 1963 and a year later a republic. The independence celebrations includes parties, political speeches, parades and dancing.
